There is more bad news to come and 1 good news :D

Cleaning of Classrooms
There will be a massive clean-up of the classrooms on 9 May 2008. Please refer to the schedule for Operation Clean-Up for each level. During the last 15 min of the clean-up time, the Teachers in charge for the level will come around to assess the cleanliness of the classrooms. All pupils must remain in their classrooms until they are dismissed when the cleaning is satisfactory.

Pupils are to bring lots of rags for the cleaning.

Operation Clean-Up Schedule:
Sec 1 & 3 – 7.50 to 9 55 am
Sec 2 & 4 – 10.00 to 11.00 am

Collection of cleaning equipment
The Class Environment Representative can collect the following cleaning equipment and garbage bags at the Pavilion before the commencement of the cleaning. An Estate Officer will be there to issue these items: 1 pail, 2 garbage bags and 1 detergent bottle. The class should return all the equipment to the Pavilion after the clean-up and inspection.

Checklist of tasks to be completed by pupils:
-CLEAR the classroom including the walls and noticeboards – remove all notices or unwanted things put up
-SWEEP the floor. NO WASHING of floor/corridor is allowed.
- Clean the corridor including the railings just outside the classroom and clear the corridor of any rubbish.
- WIPE the windows, the classroom furniture such as pupils’ desk, teacher’s table, whiteboard with rags slightly dampened in a detergent-and-water solution.
- Use a DRY cloth to wipe the computer, projector and computer monitors.
- The pupils’ desk must be emptied and the interior should be cleaned thoroughly. All tables and chairs are to be arranged accordingly and ready for your lessons the following week.
- CLEAR and CLEAN the lockers – wipe the lockers. There should be NOTHING around the locker area.
- Clear and Clean the cupboards behind the whiteboard and any other things that belongs to the class.
- COLLECT all rubbish and tightly secure them in the garbage bags. Rubbish collected are to be brought to the rubbish collection centre at the carpark near Blk D. They must not be left at the corridors of the classrooms!
- Last 15 min of Clean-Up time – Teachers in Charge of your level will assess the cleanliness of the classroom and dismiss the class when the cleaning standards have been met.

The good news is that there will be no school (I think) for the Sec 2s on the 12 of May :D
