All pupils who have signed up to support the B Div Basketball Finals on Tuesday, 22 April at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall are to report at the foyer by 1.10pm for attendance taking.
Please refer to the attached file for the confirmed list of supporters.
The bus will leave at 1.15pm sharp. Please remember to bring $0.50 for the bus transport fee and your activity card. Do fill up the activity first before submitting it.

ANNOUCENMENTs on the INET

1. Learning Journeys - Surveys
I have extended the deadline to Mon 21 April 2008.
ALL students must complete the surveys.
The surveys are accessible through the link below.

Two surveys have been put up to help us evaluate Learning Journeys 2008. This would provide us with useful information to improve on future school wide field trips and experiential learning activities.

The first survey is a general survey on Learning Journeys as a whole. All students are expected to complete this survey.

The second requires you to provide feedback on specific Learning Journeys which participated in. Please ensure that you enter your responses for your Level only. You can ignore the surveys for the other Levels. If you did not participate in any activity please indicate "Not applicable".

2. Calling for Supporters for C Division National Inter-School Badminton Championship Finals

Our "C" Division Badminton team will be having their National Inter-School Badminton Championship Finals this coming Monday, 21 April 2008, at Toa Payoh Sports Hall from 8 am to 12 noon.

Pupils interested to lend your support to our team and to cheer them on during the match, please repond to the following survey by 18 April 2008, Friday, 12 noon.

3. Supporters Needed for Basketball Nationals Schools Finals on 22 April

The B Division Basketball team will be playing in the National Schools Finals on Tuesday, 22 April 2008 at 2pm. A one-way bus transport will be provided on that day and the bus will leave at 1.15pm sharp. We would like to call for supporters to sign up at the INET by 18 April here

Supporters will be excused from lessons in the morning ONLY. Two-way transport will be provided to bring supporters to Toa Payoh Sports Hall after morning assembly (please assemble at the foyer) and back to school after the match. Please read details when responding to the survey.

Creative Arts Programme Results

To ALL applicants: The results of the 2008 CAP application results are out. Names of SUCCESSFUL applicants will be posted on the green board (near the phones) OUTSIDE the ANDERSON staffroom tomorrow morning.

Congratulations to all successful applicants! :) Please meet me at the hall tomorrow (11 April) after assembly for a briefing on further action. Bring a pen and your notebook.

To those who are not successful this time: I would like to urge you not to give up and to try again when applications open at the end of the year. Take this time to refine your portfolio and writing, and I'm sure your efforts will come to fruition.

Firstly, ANSWERS TO LIT PT QNS
Ms Picca says that we can wear clothes that are as depicted in the book, but we should try to show originality. Also, remember to link back to the main purpose of the PT in the first place. (ie preserving Maori culture). Therefore, NO BEACH WEAR because it isn't classified as very creative. XD

Secondly, this announcement is with regards to a performance by Wild Rice after the MYAs. Tickets are priced at $12 for RGS students, $33 for adults. People, who has the form? Pls return to me asap. Date: 14th April 2008 (Monday)
Time: 1330hrs onwards
Attire: Any RGS-approved top + culottes
Venue: PLMGS (296, Lorong Ah Soo)

Things to take note of:
1. No transport will be provided as 14th April is a RGS declared school holiday.
2. The deadline for signing up is 1400hrs on 10th April (Thursday) 2008. 3.
The confirmed list of supporters will be published on the INET on 11th April (Friday) after 1500hrs.
4. Only students who fulfilled ALL the following criteria will get their Activity Cards signed: Students - whose names are on the list put up on the INET. - who stay still the end of the competition (activity cards will only be returned AFTER the competition). - who brought along their activity cards (no cards will be signed after the competition). - whose activity cards are collected at 1330hrs (students who come late will not get their activity cards signed).
5. Please check the INET for updates.


Tennis C Div National Finals

Supporters for Netball Semifinals

Our B and C Div Netball players have played hard and successfully made it to the SemiFinals of the National Inter-school Netball Championship. The RGS Netball team will be playing against CHIJ (Toa Payoh) and St Margaret Secondary in B and C div respectively on 10 April (Thurs) at Toa Payoh Sports Hall. The C div game is at 1.30 pm and the B div game is at 2.45pm. It is expected to end at 4.15pm. Supporters who are interested in lending your support and cheering for our team, please respond to the survey by 9 April (Wed). A one-way transport will be provided. Please be informed that you
1. must not miss any summative assessments or PFT during this time,
