ART LESSONS WILL START ON 18 MARCH

Please go to the ART ROOM at 9.25a.m. Bring SketchBooks, Drawing Pencils. (Your Sketchbook should be without lines!! and at least A4 size. Colour and brand is up to you)

1. RS Film Cluster Selection
Students who are interested to be considered for RS Film Cluster are reminded to submit their short films and group write-ups to Mr Redmund Law before Friday 7th March. Please contact Mr Law if you have any further questions.


2. Supporters needed for B Div Tennis Finals Thurs 6 March 08
Due to the heavy rain, the B Div Tennis Finals is postponed to Thursday, 6th March. Supporters are needed. Time: 1.15pm - 5pm Venue: Kallang Tennis Court Transport: One-way bus will be provided. Pupils who would like to support our Tennis Team, please meet Mrs Ho and Mrs Alfie tomorrow morning after the morning assembly at the parade square.

3. Excuse Letter for Sports Heats 25 Feb - 5 Mar
If you require an excuse from school related activties or 3rd Lang classes because you participated in Sports Heats as an athlete, please see Mrs J outside PE office on Thu, 6 Mar at 3-4pm. Other times will not be entertained.


4. Sports Heats on 3 Mar and 5 Mar postponed
Sports Heats on 5 Mar has been postponed to Mon, 17 Mar 2008 due to unfavourable weather. All who have registered for Sec 1 & Sec 4 Inter-Class and competitors from House can take part on this day. Procedure and time of reporting and submitting of house cards remains the same.


5. Helpers for Sports Heats on Mon, 17 Mar, 3.15 - 5.15pm at RGS
We need 25 helpers on this Sports Heats. Pupils who are available to help out at Sports Heats above, please sign up at the Sports Fest noticeboard by Sat, 8 Mar, 12pm. You are required to report for duty outside Dance Studio at 3.10pm for a short briefing and assignment of duty.


6. OVERSEAS FIELDTRIPS FOR STUDENTS - 2008

Please note that the LIST OF OVERSEAS FIELDTRIPS on the glass panel of the General Office will be taken down by Friday 7 March 2008 5.00PM.
Dear Students
1. A list of all overseas field trips organized by the school this year will be placed on the glass panel of the General Office from 25 February till 7 March 2008. This is to allow you to be selective in your choice of overseas field trips in the course of your studies in RGS. It would also help you in managing your time so as to have better balance between your studies and family life.

2. If you are eligible, and if you are interested, please apply directly to the teacher-in-charge. You may be interviewed or put through a selection process. Each department has its own selection criteria. The decision of the panel of teachers for each trip is final. For some trips, involvement is by selection only.

3. If you require more details such as the specific itinerary please approach the teacher-in-charge of the trip. Please note that the information provided here is subject to change without notification. Information such as the cost of the trip are estimates only. Each teacher-in-charge will be publicizing the details of the trip in due course.

4. Funding is 100% by students, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to participate in any of these trips, and require any form of financial assistance please speak with the teacher-in-charge or with Deputy Principal 2, Mr. Chang Weng Fatt.

5. If you are selected you must abide by the rules laid down and fulfill all obligations and duties, before, during and after the trip, as specified by the teacher-in-charge.

6. Please note that when you are a participant of an overseas fieldtrip you are a representative of the school. All school rules, unless otherwise specified by the teacher-in-charge, apply.
