Reminders:
1. hand in your ORA concent forms. Nil reply needed by 28th March
2. Please write a learning journey reflection (kukup) that is to be handed in by 1st April. It should be either written or printed out and to be used during CLE lesson. *this is different from the CL one.
3. Please refer to one of the earlier post on the time table change. I will not be responsible if you do not bring the right books on the right day.
4. All those who were absent for any activities during the learning journey, please pass me your MC, excuse letter or HOY excuse by tomorrow. Other than that I will not be collecting and you shall face the consequences yourself.
5. Emily, Sharley and Wan shuen, could you please tell me why you were not in school yesterday. Wan shuen, please do give me the timing your left and came back from your piano examination.

Excuse letters for Sports Heats - urgent

For those who require excuse letters, please email Mrs Jonathan at hntan@rgs.edu.sg by Thu, 27 Mar. You are to state your name, class, house and event taken part. Also state for what activity you wished to get excused from (e.g. 3rd lang, CCA) and on which day of heats. Please collect your excuse letter from Fri, 28 Mar 12pm onwards from Mrs Jonathan's pigeon hole.


Sec 1-4 CCA Attendance for Term 1

Please be informed that your CCA teacher ICs are in the midst of collating your attendance for Term 1. If you have outstanding letters of excuse or medical certificates, do give it to your CCA teacher ICs asap.

ORA WALK-A-JOGATHON, 12 APRIL 2008

ORA Walk-a-Jogathon. Procedure for signing up.
PE Reps:
1. On your classlist, please put a TICK next to the names of the 7 participants and put an ‘R’ (Reserve) next to the names of the 2 reserves.
2. Indicate the class’ contact person – include her contact number and email address.
3. All participants are required to purchase $3-worth of ORA coupons, which they can use at the Food & Fun Fair. Please collect $3 from each participant and submit the $ to Finance Dept. 4. Staple the receipt of payment onto your classlist.
5. Submit the classlist to Mrs Anis’ locker (outside the PE Dept) by Monday, 31 Mar, 4 pm.
More information on the Walk-a-Jogathon will be given out closer to the date.

Chung Cheng Calligraphy and Chinese Painting Exhibition 2008

有意参加中正中学2008年中小学书画展的同学，请在4月1日以前，联系陈心愉老师（分机：702）。比赛详情如下：
1.不限内容，但以汉隶唐楷，或汉唐诗文主题作品为优先选择（配合主题）。2.凡书法、水墨画和彩墨画作品皆可参加。3. 作品都必须自行装裱，卷轴作品为佳。3.镜框作品最大不超过70cm x 120cm，最小不小于 50cm x 50cm


Payment for Singapore Math Olympiad to Math Rep who will pay to Accounts Dept.

Registration by the pupils is on Inet Students Portal under Survey Singapore Mathematical Olympiad.
It is compulsory for Sec 3 RA Math pupils and ALL pupils training on Saturday mornings to take part in at least 1 competition. Registration fees are $8.00 for each category. If you are taking in both categories, the fees are $16. The school will only subsidise $8 for each Math Society member. Please inform your Math rep. if you are a member.All interested pupils including RA Math girls are to make payment to your math reps. who will in turn submit the class list and money to the finance department. Sec 1pupils are highly recommended to take part in this competition if you have intentions of being selected for Sec 2 Advance strand. Similarly, Sec 2 pupils are encouraged to participate if you are keen to be in Sec 3 RA Math class next year.
Closing Date:
• Registration closes on 27 March 2008. Late applications and changes after this date will not be processed.
• All payments must reach the finance department latest on 28 March 2008. Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
