Payment for Singapore Math Olympiad to Math Rep who will pay to Accounts Dept.Registration by the pupils is on Inet Students Portal under Survey Singapore Mathematical Olympiad.
It is compulsory for Sec 3 RA Math pupils and ALL pupils training on Saturday mornings to take part in at least 1 competition. Registration fees are $8.00 for each category. If you are taking in both categories, the fees are $16. The school will only subsidise $8 for each Math Society member.
Please inform your Math rep. if you are a member.All interested pupils including RA Math girls are to make payment to your math reps. who will in turn submit the class list and money to the finance department. Sec 1pupils are highly recommended to take part in this competition if you have intentions of being selected for Sec 2 Advance strand.

Singapore Mathematical Olympiad 2008 (SMO 2008) The Singapore Mathematical Society will be holding its annual Mathematical Olympiads as follows:

anw, here's info for the sungei buloh trip during learning journey wk. somehow i get the feeling tt nt many ppl heard elaine =.=" haha okay our slot is on the 20th march, 12.30-5pm.
Instructions1. students who cannot make it on the scheduled date (due to competitions, exams etc) are to
make swops with other students from other classes

We need 25 helpers on this Sports Heats. Pupils who are available to help out at Sports Heats above, please sign up at the Sports Fest noticeboard by Sat, 8 Mar, 12pm. You are required to report for duty outside Dance Studio at 3.10pm for a short briefing and assignment of duty.
6. OVERSEAS FIELDTRIPS FOR STUDENTS - 2008

1. A list of all overseas field trips organized by the school this year will be placed on the glass panel of the General Office from 25 February till 7 March 2008. This is to allow you to be selective in your choice of overseas field trips in the course of your studies in RGS. It would also help you in managing your time so as to have better balance between your studies and family life.
2. If you are eligible, and if you are interested, please apply directly to the teacher-in-charge. You may be interviewed or put through a selection process. Each department has its own selection criteria. The decision of the panel of teachers for each trip is final. For some trips, involvement is by selection only.
3. If you require more details such as the specific itinerary please approach the teacher-in-charge of the trip. Please note that the information provided here is subject to change without notification. Information such as the cost of the trip are estimates only. Each teacher-in-charge will be publicizing the details of the trip in due course.
4. Funding is 100% by students, unless otherwise stated. If you would like to participate in any of these trips, and require any form of financial assistance please speak with the teacher-in-charge or with Deputy Principal 2, Mr. Chang Weng Fatt.
5. If you are selected you must abide by the rules laid down and fulfill all obligations and duties, before, during and after the trip, as specified by the teacher-in-charge.
