1. Reserve athletes for Sports Heats events

For those who are on reserve list, you are expected to turn up on the days of your event if you want your house card to be endorsed. You will be activated if the registered athletes do not turn up. You expected to stay until reporting time to confirm if you are needed to participate at the event.

2. Excuse letters for athletes at Sports Heats 25 Feb - 4 Mar

If you require an excuse from school related activties or 3rd Lang classes because you participated in Sports Heats as an athlete, please see Mrs J outside PE office on Fri, 29 Feb or Wed 5 Mar at 3-4pm. Other times will not be entertained.

1. ORA Family Day - Fund Raising Opportunity

Calling all CCA pupil leaders, Class, House, interested groups (e.g. OSL) - The Annual ORA Family Day back again! It will fall on 12 April this year. As with past years, we are providing you with an opportunity to raise funds either for a beneficiary or your own CCA. Please consult your Teachers IC and look/listen out for more details regarding submission of proposals either on inet or morning announcement. For clarification, please email Mrs Sulastiri Anis at sulastiri@rgs.edu.sg. We look forward to your participation. Thank you.

2. Helpers for Sporst Heats 25 Feb - 4 Mar

If you have signed up to be a helper, you are encouraged to turn up for duty in PE attire. If you cannot make it for the day you sign up, you are required to find a replacement for that duty. Your cooperation is appreciated. Report to Mrs J/ Mr Sean Yeoh/ Mr Alan Tan at 3.10pm for your duty.


3. Sec 1 to Sec 4: TOY DESIGN COMPETITION 2008

Toy Design Competition is an annual competition organised by Singapore Polytechnic and supported by MOE. The winning entries of TDC. 07 are currently on display at Edutorium.

Last year, RGS has won TWO of the top 10 positions amongst a few hundred entries. One team consists of a student from sec1; another consists of students from sec4. Each team walked away from a $699 handphone.

Annoucements from the INET:

1. Calling for Supporters for South Zone Badminton Finals

The B Division and C Division Girls Badminton will be having their South Zone Finals at Toa Payoh Sports Hall on 25 February 2008 ( Mon).

We are requesting for students supporters to support them. If you are interested to support them, please register through here.

The school buses will leave the school at 12.30pm sharp. Students are to check their Bus number at the notice board by 25 Feb 2008 Monday morning and to assemble at the foyer by 12.15pm.. Only one way ransport will be provided.

Important Note:
1) Please note that you should only sign up for the above activity ONLY if you have checked your schedule. Disciplinary action will be taken against those who signed up but do not turn up on that day.
2) Students are reminded to bring their Activity cards for endorsement on that day. We will not entertain students who forget to bring their activity card. Only one way transport will be provided.
3)Activity will end by 4.30pm. Deadline for registration of this activity is this Thursday 22 Feb 2008, 5pm.

okayokay since yall dont understand right...





mm heres the two roses. the one on the left(called face) is done by reg 1 - 18. odd nos. do the a4 size derr (we figured that drawing block is too big) just do one. ONE ONLY. even nos. do two on ONE a4 size piece of paper. appreciated if its in paint.





one on the right (full rose w/ stalk) done by 19 - 35, odd nos. do one a4 size rose, as in COVER THE WHOLE PAPER LA, then even nos.do TWO roses on one a4 piece of paper. painted please :D

the power of black poster paint :D if you cant paint properly (goes outta line), paint the insides then outline with zig. need quality okay (: anyone can do it, the face was done by my P3 SISTER. geddit. see anyone can do it just try.

and i dont mean to piss anyone off. and print it out luh. the image. if you doing big rose, then make the image bigger. but please dont make it blur. if its blur then do smt to it like outline it or smt. small just print that image out with two diff roses. and. if anyone has thought about yujia and chiewchiew, they stay back like alot of days. to do class deco. and now those window stuff and extra cardboard stuff we thought you'd be busy then we never ask you to do, we brought them home to do it, and what we exactly have to do:

#1 extra extra roses incase some people dont bring/do/duno whether need to do/not enough
#2 extra bottles (same reason)
#3 stars for the window (as in blingbling)
#4 big lipstick to cover gaps
#5 buy materials for last minute stuff.

and we have the same amount as homework. please try to empathise THANKYOU. and the same amount of tests next week. and same amount of knowledge. but just more work. so whats the big deal with doing small roses and one big rose. and just estimate la okay :D

we desperately need your help okay!! not many of you stayed back to do class deco. we take it that you are busy, or just parents' objection. but pleaseplease help your class, bring an icemountain bottle on monday, CUT INTO HALF, size does not matter (as in the halves).

use creativity la okay. silhouettes (we need black n white derr) yeah thanks! erhhh like rose with stem, or the front of a rose (those like shadows only). MAKE SURE YOU CAN STICK IT ON THE WALL.

registers 1-18 do this one :D odd nos. do DRAWING BLOCK SIZE. even nos. do a4 size. sorry for unfairness but yeah :D if u got time do more okay!!! just do the white parts ":D randomly draw its a guide. look like rose can liao. white parts supposed to be black la. the rest of the pic dun need :D

19 onwards to this one. abit gross but same instructions: ODD NOS. do drawing block size, even nos. do a4 size. THANKYOU. (red n green parts black).

and do rmb, BRING UR ICE MOUNTAIN BOTTLE/MINERAL WATER BOTTLE. CUT. CUTOKAY.

shouldnt take up to one hour to do EVERYTHING (cut bottle, draw rose). AND BY MONDAY OKAY!!! THANKYOU ALOTALOT!!!

YEAH!! Happy Valentine's Day! These annoucements are from the INET.

1. Movie Screening - Sharkwater
The Biology Department is organizing a Movie Screening at Lido Cinemas on Sharkwater (Synopsis below) and is encouraging all students to attend. The details of the screening are as follows:


Date: 22nd Feb 2008 (After SLI)
Venue: Shaw Lido Cineplex Time: 1.40pm - about 4
Cost: $2 ($4 to be subsidized by the school)

Please sign up with your biology teachers with your money by monday 12pm.
We are expecting a crowd of 200- 240 girls on a first come first served basis.
Do be aware that you should be accountable for turning up if you sign up for the movie. Do be considerate and do not back out at the last minute as the school will be paying for the tickets in advance.
